⁣As the Apocalypse chapter 12 shows, the devil is in all out war with the Woman. He fights by casting out of his foul mouth a flood of error, lies, heresy and temptation. Yet, the earth came to the aid of the Woman and absorbed this fetid water without it causing any harm. Ven. Mother Mary of Agreda explains how this earth is the pure and holy body of Mary, free of all concupiscence and inclinations to evil or sin. This body was assumed into heaven and is able to help us overcome the same flood with the same success. This is surely one of the reasons She came at Fatima to ask that we consecrate ourselves to Her Immaculate Heart. ⁣The saints have noted at times how the demons act as God's policemen and His jailors. They watch us and wait for us to break the law of God. Or they call in to check their database on our previous infractions to see if we are willing to commit them again. Or they start to follow us ...to fill us with fear, hoping that we will break the law... so that they can stop us and search us over in the hopes of eventually arresting us for their jail. Yet, for all this, they have to have permission from the divine courtroom, which often times is granted to some degree... so that our virtue will be tested, so that we will be that much more prepared for our judgment, so that others will see our Christian virtue and convert. The devil, however, gets his permissions most readily by way of INVITATION on our part, through some use of magic or the occult, or by way of ATTRACTION, that is, by our sins...as wicked acts attract wicked companions...like seeks like. In this sermon your will find three important lessons on how to keep this policeman off your back. For more please visit http://www.audiosancto.org & remember to say 3 Hail Marys for the priest

Sermons and lectures from the original Sensus Fidelium channel⁣15th Sunday after Pentecost: Why does God allow so many evils in the world, especially touching on innocent children? Why not prevent all these evils? Preventing evil in the physical order would require destroying the moral order. Evil doesn't exist "because God allows it" but because men choose to commit evil acts (i.e. Sin) in the moral order. Man's free will is the essence of the moral order: without it there cannot be love, and without love we would have no chance to triumph over evil. Through Christ, God has re-established the moral order which was lost by Adam. Practicing the virtue of meekness towards God, towards our neighbor and towards ourselves helps us to re-establish and maintain the moral order in our soul and even of the entire universe. ⁣In the 19th century, Saint John Vianney said: "The reason our times are so irreligious is on account of un-Christian families." Tomorrow's priets, bishops and religious come from today's families: if we want to change the world we must raise up our children in holiness. Obedience and humility are the keys to restoring Christian order in the lives of families; Jesus, Mary and Joseph show us the way by their example, and help us by their influence.
