Chaplet of the Sacred Face (Female Voice)
This devotion to the Sacred Face is prayed on the popular Marian Rosary of 59 beads.
Begin with the following prayer:
"Most Sacred Face,
we call on You until You hear our prayers.
You are able to help us wonderfully.
Holy God, Mighty God, Holy Immortal God!
Have mercy on us and on the whole world!
Turn Your Face towards us
and we shall be saved!"
On the Our Father beads, say the following prayer:
"Heavenly Father,
humbly and fervently we offer You
the infinite merits
and sufferings of the Sacred Face,
His Precious Blood,
all the wounds and tears of Jesus,
to Your greater Glory,
for help in our great need."
On the Hail Mary beads, say the following prayers:
1st decade:
"O Sacred Face, covered with wounds,
have mercy on us who call on You!"
2nd decade:
"O Sacred Face, covered with blood,
have mercy on us who call on You!"
3rd decade:
"O Sacred Face, shedding tears with infinite Love,
have mercy on us who call on You!"
4th decade:
"O Sacred Face, despised and insulted,
have mercy on us who call on You!"
5th decade:
"O Sacred Face, silently bearing the most bitter pain,
have mercy on us who call on You!"
At the end of the Chaplet, say the following prayer:
"Let us adore the Sacred Face
of Our Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior,
whose merits are infinite
and whose mercy is fathomless.
May He grant us the remission
of our sins and true conversion.
Let us console His Sacred Face
by the purity of our lives,
by fearless witness to our Faith
and by the depth of our love!
Amen."

A Chaplet is a Christian meditative form of prayer which uses prayer beads. Some chaplets have a strong Marian element, others focus more directly on Jesus or the Saints. Chaplets are "personal devotionals." They have no set form and vary considerably. In the Roman Catholic Church, while the usual five-decade Dominican rosary is a chaplet, often chaplets have fewer beads than a traditional rosary and a different set of prayers.
This channel was created by a husband and wife team who wanted to compile both common and rare chaplets in one easy to find place in order to fill a gap in the accessibility of these amazing Catholic prayers.
This channel seeks to bring a multitude of different chaplets, in all of their forms, to listeners providing a rich resource of spiritual healing, encouragement, and support for the daily struggles of everyday life.
The channel is designed primarily for listening while in the car, home, doing chores, or while exercising. Video content is intentionally still so as to focus the listener on the prayers and to be compatible with the other activities in which they’re engaged at the time of listening.
Imagery in this channel is intentionally sought to be in the public domain or within creative commons guidelines.
