⁣Pray one decade of the rosary in Latin with me!

If you are new to praying the Rosary prayers in Latin (Pater Noster, Ave Maria, and Gloria Patri) pray along with me and practice! I learned little-by-little simply by praying along and practicing these prayers every day with my husband and children. My husband led the prayers and we read along and practiced the pronunciation! My hope with this video is to help you in a similar way.


⁣⁣Fr. Ripperger says: "If you want to be holy, pray in Latin."


- Latin is the official language of the Church. It has been used by the Church for centuries, and it expresses the faith and doctrine of the Church in a precise and unambiguous way. Latin is also a sacred language, set apart for the worship of God and the communication of His mysteries. Praying in Latin connects us with the tradition and continuity of the Church, and with the saints and martyrs who prayed in Latin before us.

- Latin is a universal language. It transcends the boundaries of time, and unites Catholics from different countries and cultures. Praying in Latin allows us to pray with one voice and one heart with our fellow Catholics around the world, and to participate more fully in the communion of saints. Latin also helps us to avoid the confusion and division that can arise from different translations and interpretations of the prayers in different languages.


- Latin is a powerful language. It has a spiritual force and authority that can resist and repel the attacks of the enemy. Fr. Ripperger explains that demons hate Latin, because it reminds them of their defeat by Christ and His Church. He also says that Latin prayers are more efficacious than vernacular prayers, because they have been approved and blessed by the Church for centuries, and because they have more merit and grace attached to them.


So how can we start praying in Latin? Fr. Ripperger suggests that we begin by learning some basic prayers, such as the Sign of the Cross, the Our Father, the Hail Mary, the Glory Be, and the Creed. We can also learn some common responses and acclamations that are used in the Mass, such as "Amen", "Et cum spiritu tuo", "Dominus vobiscum", "Gloria Patri", etc. We can then gradually progress to more complex prayers, such as the Rosary, the Divine Office, or even the Mass itself.

There has been much confusion over Our Lady’s Message at Fatima leading to disagreement and “controversy.” Most of this has been intentional, by design. Make no mistake, this is an aim of the devil, and he puts all his perternatural force behind it.

The three primary examples:

[One] The manner of Consecration was obfuscated by confusing two different requests from Heaven. One was given by Our Lord to Bl. Alexandrina da Costa for the consecration of the world to bring World War II to an end. The other was given to Sister Lucia of Fatima for the consecration of Russia specifically to bring about Russia’s conversion and a period of peace. The former was done by Pius XII on October 31, 1942. The latter has never been done, though many spread the error that John Paul II made this consecration in 1984.

[Two] The Third Secret was not released in 1960 and then what was released in 2000 was missing the words of Our Lady. The disingenuous claim was made by Vatican officials that the prophecies of Fatima were complete. Yet Pope Benedict would correct that in 2010 on his visit to Fatima.

[Three] Sister Lucia’s testimony has been falsified. She was formally silenced by the Pope in 1960. The vast work of Father Joaquin Alonso, the official Fatima archivist, was suppressed in 1975 just before it was scheduled for publication. His work included 24 volumes containing some 5396 documents. A small portion of his work was allowed to be printed, but only after being heavily edited. The rest remains locked under the strictest guard. In the 80s, letters were forged in Sister Lucia’s name. False interviews of Sister Lucia have been conducted. And all these sources usually claimed that the consecration of Russia was complete and Fatima was effectively a thing of the past. There is even an abundance of scientific and forensic evidence indicating that, at times, an imposter was trotted out in her place for various public events.


Given so much deceit, it is not surprising that there is confusion over the Message. To complicate matters further, poor translations of Sister Lucia’s words have been published and key facts are some times mixed up.

These errors have led some well-intentioned Catholics, who wish to be faithful to Our Lady, to think that the time of Fatima has passed us by. They mistakenly think that “the window of opportunity” for having Russia consecrated is now closed. And so, it is now pointless to continue praying or petitioning for the proper consecration. As evidence for this they point to the great apostasy within the Church, the loss of true doctrine, the suppression of true worship, the abandonment of true morals, the forgetting of past devotions and disciplines, the crisis in priestly and religious vocations, the terrible scandals in the hierarchy, in short, the great revolution which has so dramatically changed Catholicism in these the last six decades.

And while these things have indeed happened, they actually confirm Our Lady of Fatima’s prophetic warnings, but they do not indicate the time of Fatima is passed us by. Her words and those of Our Lord Himself correct that error. I’ll review the essential facts regarding this at the end of this podcast.

But since much of this confusion seems to revolve around the phrase “it will be late” as some think Our Lady and Our Lord said “it will be too late.” That is false.

Today Fr. Samuel Waters, answers questions for our project on "Mass Conversions."

Some questions that are discussed:

✍ When it comes to the Novus Ordo, we should not fall into the modernist trap. Validity is not the issue, as a Catholic we shouldn't we be more concerned with thinking what is pleasing to God?

✍Obedience is to God, yes, but how is the Novus Ordo disobedient to God?

✍ Are you the only on speaking about this Fr. Waters? ( Here he speaks about a recent interview of Archbishop Vigano, ( https://catholicfamilynews.com..../blog/2022/09/15/int ): "..the sacred action of the Mass contains the doctrine, morality, spirituality and discipline of the ecclesial body that celebrates the Liturgy. Thus, just as the Catholic Mass is a perfect and coherent expression of the Catholic Magisterium, the reformed liturgy [the Novus Ordo] is an expression of conciliar deviations; indeed, it reveals and confirms its heterodox essence without the ambiguities and verbiage of the Vatican II texts. We could say, to use a simile, that the healthy blood of the Gospel flows in the veins of the Tridentine Mass, while the new rite flows with the infected blood of heresy and the spirit of the world."

Father continues to explain 3 important points:

1) We learn from the story of Cain and Abel what God wants from us. He
wants our best. Abel offered to God the best of his lambs. It was
accepted. Cain offered what he wanted to offer to God. It was not his best
and it was not accepted.

Both of these offerings were true offerings. Abel offered an offering and
so did Cain. They were both true offerings. However only one was
accepted, the one from Abel. He offered the best. Cain offered what he
wanted to offer. Abel was obedient, Cain was disobedient and that is why
his offering was not accepted. The true/validness of it had nothing to do
with it not being accepted.

2) Fast Forward to the Protestant Reformation. The first thing they all did
was get rid of the Holy Mass of the Catholic Church. Next, they made up
their own worship service/offering. They decided/determined what they
would offer to God...

3) Fast Forward to VC II and the New Mass. The New Mass is developed with the help of six Protestant ministers. They are from the same source of the Protestant Reformation who are disobedient to God by not offering to God the Acceptable Sacrifice, but what THEY want to give to God.
Is the new worship service of the Catholic Church a true/valid service. Yes, but they are being disobedient by not giving God the Acceptable Sacrifice, but giving God what they want to give to Him.

Establishing the principle of disobedience in the worship service for the
people attending and the priest who officiates at it has ramifications.
When the lay person moves into this way of thinking and acting, they
become the person who determines what they will give to God, like Cain
did. They decide, I will give this to God. They stop asking or they never ask
God, “what do you want from me”?

Doing the Will of God is essential to living the Catholic Life and is a
necessary question on the way to Salvation. When the person themselves
are determining what is being offered, he can cut down or cut out
whatever he is offering to God. The Immemorial Roman Rite, Approved and Received (this is the term to describe the Mass in the language of Dogma) opens the life of the Catholic to seek the Will of God and points him in the direction to give his entire life to God in the way Christ gave His life for us to His Father.

The New Mass directs the Catholic to decide for himself what and how
much he will give to God leaving the rest of his life for himself. This is one
of the reasons why Religious Vocations are so few in the Novus Ordo
Church. Religious Vocations require the Catholic to give all of themselves
to God.
