“The Good Shepherd” – April 14, 2024 – Second Sunday after Easter
1 Peter 2:21-25
John 10:11-16
· Most imagery doesn’t adequately portray the good shepherd.
· A good shepherd is brave and strong.
· He is ready to protect His sheep and willing to be torn to pieces by wolves.
· He will not flee like a bad shepherd, a hireling.
· St. Maximilian Kolbe exemplifies a good shepherd.
· He created the Militia Immaculata.
· He called for praying for the enemies of the Church, like the Freemasons, and for wearing the Miraculous Medal.
