⁣The most common door that we open to the enemy comes in the form of lies and torments. When we entertain these negative thoughts, overthinking can easily become an obsession. And, unless we renounce these thoughts using the Powerful Name of Jesus and with the help of the sacraments of the Church and spiritual direction, the negative thought patterns quickly slip into an affliction that causes great mental pain and anguish.

In this video, we walk through how to renounce these torments. And, when these obsessive thoughts continue despite this battle plan, it does not mean that the person is "possessed." There are many levels of oppression and obsession. There are protocols that need to be observed to make a final determination of this. These are topics we will discuss later in future episodes. Please continue to seek healing through your mental health care providers and your spiritual directors. This balance, we have seen, becomes fruitful for the afflicted and their family members in the long run.

Speaking the name of Jesus is such a powerful way to stop swirling around in our own thoughts. "Help me, Jesus." is a simple prayer to combat overthinking things or allowing the enemy to plant seeds of doubt. Appreciate these "BOOMs".
