Thank you so much Steve for answering! Please forgive my slowness in responding. Providing for the family takes most of my time and I end up using bits of time here and there to have communications as this. For me it is a lot easier to record a small video and send them to you than to write. If it is well with you, can I do that instead? Please even if you accept this request feel free to answer the videos I send you in whatever way is better for you, writing, video or audio. I will be sending them to you thru the email, since I am not allowed to post videos in this platform. The theory I propose is that Pope Benedict XVI did renounced being the bishop of Rome but kept his Petrine munus. Unlike Dr Mazza not only I have not backed away from it, but I have gone deeply into it. The key to understand this theory completely, I think, lies in placing it in its proper place in the big picture. Picture that takes into consideration the times that we are living in the history of Salvation. So, instead of giving you a new theory, you were right, you have heard it before, I will attempt to present to you the theory I just mentioned in its proper perspective. Thank you again for doing this. It is essential that those who love Our Lord and His Bride, the Church, do not ignore this issue.

Roberto, sure...I'd be happy to review a video if that is easier for you. Just want to be sure...I sent you an email? did you get that? If so, you can forward your email to that account. You might want to check my blog, where I have a whole series of articles which have address Dr. Mazza's ever-changing theory regarding Benepapism. On the thesis you are proposing, please see my multi-article response to Dr. Mazza's first appearances on Taylor Marshall's program, wherein he proposed the theory you appear to be suggesting. My response was in four parts...with the last having lings to the prior parts. Please see: ghttps://romalocutaest.com/2020..../06/11/addendum-norm The problem for your theory is that the Petrine primacy is linked to the See of Rome. If nothing else, this is clear in the papal legislation governing conclaves (e.g., Universi Domini Gregis, Normas Nonnullas), and in canon law. In accepting one's election as "supreme pontiff", one becomes bishop of Rome, and true pope, with supreme power over the Church. One entails the other. See UDG 88: "After his acceptance, the person elected, if he has already received episcopal ordination, is immediately Bishop of the Church of Rome, true Pope and Head of the College of Bishops. He thus acquires and can exercise full and supreme power over the universal Church." If Benedict intended to somehow keep the latter powers, he would have needed to amend the conclave rules to that effect. But he did not. Anyway....I look forward to your video. God bless, Steve.

Hello Steven! Thank you for taking your time with this essential issue! I wanted to also publish videos but defending a third interpretation of what actually Pope Benedict XVI did. I differ with the two theories that you mentioned. I agree with you that those theories are not accurate. However in this third theory, which as far as I know you have not mentioned perhaps because you are not aware of it, I have found solid and orthodox reasons to understand and accept that Benedict XVI was still the Vicar of Christ when he died. SpiritusTV however did not allowed me to upload videos. I would love to share my findings with you but sadly it can not be done here. You can contact me either through email, Telegram or phone. If you live in Arizona we could even arrange an in person meeting if you wish. Here is my contact information. The website is in Spanish only. Maybe later we can have it in English, if the Lord wants.

Roberto, thanks for your comment. I would happy to correspond with you regarding your theory. I don't see your email in your comment, but you can find mine on my blog (www.RomaLocutaEst.com). I'll check out your blog and see if I can find your email there. Still, feel free to email me. Now, as to your theory, without knowing what it is you are suggesting (I'll check out your site)-- I suspect I probably have heard it along the way. My book and videos have centered mostly on the two "standard" theories, popularized by the likes of Ann Barnhardt, Estefania Acosta, and Andrea Cionci. But, I do touch upon other theories in my book and articles (e.g., the notion that Benedict resigned only as bishop of Rome, but not the Petrine munus). This theory was once advanced by Dr. Mazza, for example, but he seems to have backed away from it . Anyway, thanks for taking the time to comment. I'll check out your site, and see if I can find your email there. As said, in the meantime...feel free to check out my blog and find my email there. Looking forward to chatting with you. God bless. Steve
