Order Charity in Me after the Pattern of J-O-Y
After responding to the kiss of His Word, God draws us and show us things in His Church - if only we do not resist Him. Then God brings us into His wine cellar to put charity in order within us. The proper ordering of charity can be seen in the word JOY: 'J' for Jesus first, 'O' for Others second, 'Y' for Yourself last. If this ordering is not followed, suffering is allowed to increase, or even sent to us and the whole world, in order to encourage us to get the ordering right. Without this ordering we cannot take up our crosses nor truly love our fellow man. Sadly, disorder has even affected many members of the Church. Yet the saints manifest the proper order, as we see in St. Bernadette. The soul that allows God to order it, finds JOY that no earthly power of pain can dissolve.
