Dave and his wife are the founders of the Catholic Music Initiative, a nonprofit that provides mass settings and music resources to more than 500 parishes in the United States. Their arrangements are prayerful, reverent, and accessible for anyone regardless of musical ability.
Dave was recently appointed to serve as the director of music and liturgy for the National Eucharistic Congress. He shares insights into the planning and prayer involved in curating “the largest family reunion” for the Catholic church in America.
In our conversation, Dave dives into the stories that led him to discover his musical talent and how he maintains the heart of an altar server as he leads others in praise and worship.
