This chaplet consists of a medal of the Sorrowful Mother, followed by three introductory beads, and seven groups of seven beads, each separated by a medal of one of the seven sorrows:

1. The Prophecy of Simeon
2. The flight into Egypt.
3. The loss of the Child Jesus
4. Mary meets Jesus carrying His Cross.
5. The Crucifixion
6. Mary received the body of Jesus from the Cross.
7. The body of Jesus is placed in the tomb.

According to Saint Bridget of Sweden (1303-1373), our Blessed Mother grants seven graces to the souls who honor her daily by praying this chaplet:

1. I will grant peace to their families.
2. They will be enlightened about the Divine Mysteries.
3. I will console them in their pains and I will accompany them in their work.
4. I will give them as much as they ask for as long as it does not oppose the adorable will of my Divine Son or the sanctification of their souls.
5. I will defend them in their spiritual battles with the infernal enemy and I will protect them at every instant of their lives.
6. I will visibly help them at the moment of their death - they will see the face of their mother.
7. I have obtained this grace from my Divine Son, that those who propagate this devotion to my tears and dolors will be taken directly from this earthly life to eternal happiness, since all their sins will be forgiven and my Son will be their eternal consolation and joy.

A Chaplet is a Christian meditative form of prayer which uses prayer beads. Some chaplets have a strong Marian element, others focus more directly on Jesus or the Saints. Chaplets are "personal devotionals." They have no set form and vary considerably. In the Roman Catholic Church, while the usual five-decade Dominican rosary is a chaplet, often chaplets have fewer beads than a traditional rosary and a different set of prayers.

This channel was created by a husband and wife team who wanted to compile both common and rare chaplets in one easy to find place in order to fill a gap in the accessibility of these amazing Catholic prayers.

This channel seeks to bring a multitude of different chaplets, in all of their forms, to listeners providing a rich resource of spiritual healing, encouragement, and support for the daily struggles of everyday life.

The channel is designed primarily for listening while in the car, home, doing chores, or while exercising. Video content is intentionally still so as to focus the listener on the prayers and to be compatible with the other activities in which they’re engaged at the time of listening.

The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Nativity of Mary, the Mary or the Birth of the Virgin Mary, refers to a Christian feast day celebrating the birth of Mary, mother of Jesus.

The Miracle of the Sun, also known as the Miracle of Fátima, is a series of events reported to have occurred miraculously on 13 October 1917, attended by a large crowd who had gathered in Fátima, Portugal, in response to a prophecy made by three shepherd children, Lúcia Santos and Francisco and Jacinta Marto. The prophecy was that the Virgin Mary (referred to as Our Lady of Fátima), would appear and perform miracles on that date. Newspapers published testimony from witnesses who said that they had seen extraordinary solar activity, such as the Sun appearing to "dance" or zigzag in the sky, careen towards the Earth, or emit multicolored light and radiant colors. According to these reports, the event lasted approximately ten minutes.

The local bishop opened a canonical investigation of the event in November 1917, to review witness accounts and assess whether the alleged private revelations from Mary were compatible with Catholic theology. The local priest conducting the investigation was particularly convinced by the concurring testimony of extraordinary solar phenomena from secular reporters, government officials, and other skeptics in attendance. Bishop José da Silva declared the miracle "worthy of belief" on 13 October 1930, permitting "officially the cult of Our Lady of Fatima" within the Catholic Church (Wikipedia)

The film stars Michael Rennie, Patricia Neal, Hugh Marlowe, Sam Jaffe, Billy Gray, Frances Bavier and Lock Martin. The screenplay was written by Edmund H. North, based on the 1940 science fiction short story "Farewell to the Master" by Harry Bates, and the film score was composed by Bernard Herrmann.

Set in the Cold War during the early stages of the nuclear arms race, the film's storyline involves a humanoid alien visitor who comes to Earth, accompanied by a powerful robot, to deliver an important message that will affect the entire human race.

In 1995, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry as "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."

The Cinnamon Bear story focused on Judy and Jimmy Barton who go to the enchanted world of Maybeland to recover their missing Silver Star that belongs on their Christmas tree. Helping on the search is the Cinnamon Bear, a stuffed bear with shoe-button eyes and a green ribbon around his neck. They meet other memorable characters during their quest, including the Crazy Quilt Dragon (who repeatedly tries to take the star for himself), the Wintergreen Witch, Fe Fo the Giant and Santa Claus.

The Cinnamon Bear is an old-time radio program produced by Transco. The series was specifically designed to be listened to six days a week between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The Free Company was a voluntary group of distinguished American playwrights, writers, actors and radio workers who join their talents to bring you this series with no compensation other than the knowledge that it may serve America.

The Free Company presented original radio plays written by its members Maxwell Anderson, Sherwood Anderson, Stephen Vincent Benet, James Boyd, George M. Cohan, Mark Connelly, Archibald Macleish, Orson Welles, Elmer Rice, William and Robert E. Sherwood - Nine of them Pulitzer Prize Winners.

William Saroyan was an Armenian-American novelist, playwright, and short story writer. He was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1940, and in 1943 won the Academy Award for Best Story for the film The Human Comedy. When the studio rejected his original 240-page treatment, he turned it into a novel, The Human Comedy.

Saroyan has been described in a Dickinson College news release as "one of the most prominent literary figures of the mid-20th century" and by Stephen Fry as "one of the most underrated writers of the [20th] century." Fry suggests that "he takes his place naturally alongside Hemingway, Steinbeck and Faulkner". Kurt Vonnegut has said that Saroyan was "the first and still the greatest of all the American minimalists.

They called themselves The Free Company of Players. Dr. E. Michael Jones visits the local public access channel studio in downtown South Bend to discuss with Peter Helland his understanding of the very controversial decision to continue to retain the retired Jewish lawyer of Barnes and Thornburg, Alan Feldbaum, to his high position within the St. Joseph County Public Library. Many local citizens and particularly mothers, represented by county council member, Amy Drake, want him replaced. Feldbaum has been insisting that the children section contain books like "Flamer" and "This Book is Gay." The mothers and many others feel this makes it morally unsafe for their children to be in the children's section of the library. Amy Drake thought for sure the three Republican conservative county commissioners would support her. Instead as Dr. Jones says, they stabbed her in the back. While this extremely important 10 am meeting was taking place, only two hours later at 12 o'clock the Republicans were holding a meeting at the Juday Creek golf course to listen to "conservative" radio talk show host Casey Hendrickson and common council member Eli Wax give a talk on "Understanding Israel" in light of the war in Gaza. After the hour talk Jones was given the first question. Jones said the talk was an insult to the intelligence of the audience. Hendrickson immediately started "sparring" with Jones. Finally Hendrickson said: "I know who you are. The ADL says you are an antisemite." This galvanized the crowd against Jones. But fortunately Mike came with some friends that created a buffer for him. Mike never was allowed to say his peace at the meeting but now on public access and youtube he can get his important message out: Both political parties in St. Joseph County and South Bend are controlled way too much by the Jewish citizens and outside Jewish influence he says. And this is happening all over the country. He says we must take back our country and get representatives that actually represent the majority.

⁣I recently purchased some MRE Humanitarian Rations as the start to a little emergency food stash. I decided upon these because of the war in Gaza. I saw a Palestinian eat and review one of these after the US air-dropped them to Palestinians. He hated it. He said the only thing he could choke down was the peanut butter. I wanted to know if it was really that bad.

Initially, the plan was to eat and review these with my three and 5-year-olds. We opened, ate, and reviewed one earlier today, but the sound didn't record! So, I opened a new one and re-recorded it, but my boys did not want to be as involved.

⁣Emily, a young healthy woman of 24 living in Bruges, Belgium, recently obtained legal permission to commit doctor assisted suicide because of “unbearable psychological suffering.” Thank goodness she did not go through with this evil choice. Emily and her dysfunctional family and life typifies modern western civilization: divorced, entertained, medicated, doubting, impure and depressed… in despair. The cure for Emily and what she stands for is captured in another young lady...a saint of the Lowlands, the 15th Century victim soul, St. Lydwine of Schiedem. The contrast between these two women, each a type of something bigger than themselves, is amazing and instructive. In a word, St. Lydwine possesses the solution to the depression and despair of Emily. How important it is for us respond to the kisses of God, to be drawn by Him such that He shows us His wonders...many of which require we look back before we can overcome the present. “Most people consider hunger, plague and war to be punishment from God because in them they see more clearly the hand of divine justice that afflicts the nations. But these adversities, however great and terrible they may be, do not appear as punishments if we look with the pure eyes of faith illuminated with the light of God and compare them with other afflictions of the justice of an offended God. These are spiritual punishments which consist in decreasing the good effects of religion in a town, province or kingdom, or in stripping them, or in the withdrawal of God and abandoning them to the disorder of their passions, to error, to heresy, in one word to Satan’s claws. As there is no greater good in the world than true faith and the Catholic religion, neither can there be a more cruel, more terrible more terrifying affliction for a Catholic nation than being handed over to the devils and to the wicked sects so that in punishment for their sins they root out the holy tree of Religion. As a consequence, they burn the churches, kill the priests and remove all the visible signs of faith. Temporal punishments, properly speaking, are not real punishments, but rather mercies of the Lord, that with them it would oblige persons to wake up from the lethargy of vices and sins, to return to God and be converted. But spiritual punishments are of wrath, indignation and fury. They are the true outcome of the anger of a God who turns the obstinate sinner away from Him. They are the real temporal abandonment, the source and the reason of that eternal abandonment where the demons and those who are condemned in hell” (Bd.
