The BeatiDudes is a religiously funny talk show that takes a holy and humorous approach to being a Christian man in the modern world. This Catholic show combines prayer, wit, wisdom, and everything in between.
Season One wraps up as the BeatiDudes honor their wives and each other with a rollercoaster of Catholic comedy and prayer.
Watch Paul Kolker crush it in a special game of Blessed are the Joke Makers in which he takes on many personas to address the prompt, “Mea culpa, Father, I couldn’t make it to mass because _____” while Nick and Jeff guess as many as possible.
Then the pinnacle moment of Season One occurs when the BeatiDudes dedicate the show and all of its work to the protection and intercession of St. Maximilian Kolbe. You can pray along with The BeatiDudes by using this link to download the prayer.

For this special Reverse Simpsons, The BeatiDudes tell a “very exciting story,” during which Paul directs each person to start and stop talking as the story unfolds. The cards that were selected as prompts for this story include “a fed-up waiter from TGI Fridays” and the “newest hit hymn to hit the church is ________.”
Did it turn out to be a very exciting story?
Let us know in the comments.
Disclaimer – This show contains sensitive content related to child molestation. Please use caution when listening and be sure that you and others are in a place to hear this difficult discussion.
Steve LaMure is a BeatiDude through and through. He has a wonderful family and a successful commercial real estate company in Dallas, Texas.
Steve steps out in courage during this episode to share the difficult story of his family’s dark past, including the criminal acts of child molestation committed by his father. This is a story of hurt, anger, fear, and anxiety through which Steve finds faith, purpose, and a call to serve and love others.
In the second half of the show, the Dudes play Blessed are the Joke Makers and they must take on the persona of a Video Game Addict to address the prompt, “I would like ____ for Christmas.”
The TBD question of the day – What is your relationship with your guardian angel? How is that going right now?
For this episode’s Reverse Simpsons, the Dudes attempt to stump Steve in a game of Two Truths and a Lie.
Steve Kass is back for his bonus episode of The BeatiDudes. Steve’s diverse professional career includes 14 years of service as a distinguished Naval Officer, a nuclear submarine design engineer, and work as a university administrator, in addition to nearly 20 years of experience in the deregulated energy industry. Steve has a master’s degree in Systematic Theology from Seton Hall University, a master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University, and a bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Rochester in New York.
In addition to his work at the national energy advisory firm 5, Steve is an Adjunct Professor of Theology at Seton Hall University and serves his community as a member of his church’s parish council and as the Vice Chairman of the Board for Chilton Medical Center in New Jersey.
The show starts with Blessed are the Joke Makers Bonus Edition, in which each Dude must take on a different persona to address the prompt, “I got seven deadly sins, but ____ ain’t one.”
After the game, Steve dives into a reflection on his relationship with his family as an only child with no aunts or uncles. Steve tells touching stories of both of his parents’ deaths and the role that faith played throughout the journey.
As his father was taking his final breaths, Steve stepped in to baptize him in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
As Steve states in the show, “Love’s great gift is joy, but the price is the pain of separation.”

The show starts with Steve sharing his experiences in the Navy as an auxiliary officer on a destroyer before joining a tour with an airborne marine corps unit. After his time in the Navy, Steve built submarines for Electric Boat as a nuclear submarine design engineer.
On Blessed are the Joke Makers, the Dudes must take on the persona of a rebellious teenager to answer the prompt, “a lesser-known Bible story is about ____.”
In his role as an adjunct professor, Steve teaches a fascinating class at Seton Hall called Sports & Spirituality. This class starts with an understanding of the human person and then explores how sports and spirituality both require discipline, fortitude, and forgiveness.
TBD Question – What is something you wish you could do or know at a mastery level, but you are only a novice at this point?
Reverse Simpsons – Steve leads the Dudes through a quiz full of twists and turns, including sections on feast days, BeatiDuderonomy, and a reverse spelling bee.
Jason Deuterman is back for this BeatiDudes bonus episode. In addition to being a loving father and husband, Jason Deuterman serves as the Director of Strategic Consulting and Innovation Design for Our Sunday Visitor.
The show begins with a special Blessed are the Joke Makers Bonus Edition in which each of the Dudes takes on different personas that Jason must try to guess as they address the prompt, “St Nicholas brought ________ to kids for Christmas for the first time.”
Then we learn about Jason’s innovative approach to strategic ministry development for customized parish and diocese solutions during his time with the Diocese of Dallas. His passion for creating ideas and solutions from scratch led him to explore design thinking.
It was this newfound passion that brought him to OSV, one of the most innovative and impactful organizations in the church today. In his current role, Jason fosters and encourages entrepreneurial church leadership for organizations throughout the United States.
You will love hearing Jason’s reflection on curiosity as the gateway to empathy and his closing encouragement to everyone in ministry.

While on active duty serving in Colorado, Mike earned his MBA from Regis University. Mike transitioned to corporate America in 2004 and began a career in banking & financial services specializing in Fintech and Payments.
What defines Mike most is his care, love, and focus on his family.
This bonus episode starts with a reflection on leadership and how men are called to lead others. Years after leading a Christ Renews His Parish retreat, Mike brought many men back together for a series of book studies that continued to solidify their Christ-centered fraternity onward.
On Blessed are the Joke Makers Bonus Edition, each Dude must take on a different persona to address the prompt “Being Catholic is the best because _________.”

The show starts with a reflection on how Mike and Jeff met in 2005 through the Christ Renews His Parish retreat at St. Thomas Aquinas in East Dallas. This proved to be a formative moment for Mike’s spiritual journey and his connection to authentic Catholic community for himself and his family.
Mike goes on to share the journey of his time in the Army and the various stages of his career and work while also raising a family. During his time serving in Washington, DC, Mike worked for a few years in the Pentagon and happened to be onsite during the attacks of September 11, 2001. Mike’s original office was in the direct path of the airplane that struck the Pentagon, and thankfully his office had relocated to the inner ring only months earlier for a renovation. This tragic experience of this event reignited Mike’s faith.
On Blessed are the Joke Makers, the Dudes must take on the persona of a hypochondriac to address the question, “What should I give up for Lent?”
This episode’s TBD question asks Mike and the Dudes to reflect on another major world event that they can recall during their lifetime other than 9/11.
For Reverse Simpsons, Jeff takes his co-hosts and Mike through a 3-question round of “Finish these lyrics” and you are encouraged to play along at home.

As a father of two, Jeremy starts the show by reflecting on fatherhood and the impact of modeling virtue. Then the Dudes dive into Jeremy’s spiritual journey covering several religious traditions and a fun story of his own ordination as a minister prior to coming into communion with the Catholic church.
In 2014, Jeremy faced a spiritual crisis in his journey that was centered around 1 Peter 3:15. He wanted to always be able to give a defense of his faith to anybody at any time and decided to take on the antithesis of his own arguments as part of this study. During the proceeding years, God placed several men in Jeremy’s life that helped to form him for the next step, including Bishop Robert Baron in the Great God Debates series.
Jeremy completed RCIA and entered the church on the Easter vigil in 2022.
After a spiritually powerful start to the show, the Dudes compete on Blessed are the Joke Makers using the persona of a Sour School Teach to address the prompt, “Youth ministers love talking about _____.”
After the break, Jeremy shares the fascinating story of his company’s rebrand efforts to land on the new name Cardboard Spaceship.
This episode’s TBD question asks the Dudes and Jeremy to reflect on a time when each person was faced with a fight or flight moment, and they chose to run away.
This week’s Reverse Simpsons is a special Silly Soda Sampler challenge in which Jeff presents Jeremy, Paul, and Nick with 3 very interesting food-flavored drinks to see if they can collectively determine each one.
Alex Trevino is a strong Catholic husband, father, and businessman. He is also the founder and president of a film production company called Project Thirty-Six.
On Blessed are the Joke Makers, Alex joins the Dudes by taking on the persona of a penny-pinching cheapskate to finish the prompt, “Next on Catholic radio, we will be talking about _______”
Alex shares the details of his loving family, which includes four kids on Earth and one in Heaven after losing a baby during pregnancy just seven months earlier. This is Alex’s first time sharing the story of their loss publicly, and he beautifully expresses the sadness, healing, and recovery that is underway in his family.
Alex never imagined that visiting a child’s gravesite would become a routine part of every Sunday. Alex encourages anyone facing grief to seek help, and the Dudes share more about resources that are available, including Red Bird Ministries.
This show highlights perseverance and the Father’s loving care.
Gabriel Joseph - Pray for us.

Bishop Burns desires to bring others before our Lord Jesus Christ and keeps that mission at the forefront of everything he does. He is a servant leader, and his motto is Pray with Confidence.

In this episode, the Dudes face off in a game of Blessed are the Joke Makers in which they must take on the persona of an eccentric billionaire to address the prompt, “The Pope is writing about _____ right now.”
And to finish off the show with our very special Reverse Simpsons, the Dudes ask Bishop Burns nine rapid-fire questions in a game of “Burning Questions for Bishop Burns.”
First thank God

If you asked Scott 10 years ago if he would be selling socks and other merchandise, he would have said you're crazy.
Scott and the Dudes get started with a round of “Blessed are the Joke Makers” during which they take on multiple personalities to complete the prompt, “I’m a bad Catholic because ______.”
Then Scott takes the opportunity to debut several new sock designs from Sock Religious, including Blessed Carlos Acutis, the Eucharist in the Monstrance series, and the history of the Pope Mobile.

The BeatiDudes proudly welcome a friend and sponsor, Scott Williams, from Catholic Concepts & Sock Religious. Scott traveled to Texas from Indianapolis to bring his stories, puns, and dreams of great Catholic concepts to come.
Scott is a ministry professional turned entrepreneur and the founder of the largest Catholic sock company in the world (probably). After working nearly a decade in full-time youth ministry, Scott turned a side hustle into a rapidly growing small business in a niche Catholic corner of the internet. If you asked Scott 10 years ago if he would be selling socks and other merchandise, he would have said you're crazy.
The Dudes start the show by reflecting on how Scott Williams and Sock Religious came into our lives, and the puns ensue. Scott goes on to talk about the original story of launching a sock company and their incredible debut at the 2017 National Catholic Youth Conference.
Scott judges the Dudes during Blessed are the Joke Makers as they take on the persona of “The One Upper” to answer the prompt, “what priests really want to talk about in their homilies.”
The second segment starts with an amazing story of the bus Scott and his friends purchased in college for $1200 that was converted into a recreational vehicle for traveling to concerts, football games, and other activities together.
This episode’s TBD Question – What would you create or build if money was not an object?
Reverse Simpsons – The Dudes take turns pitching Scott on new product lines for Catholic Creatives and some of these ideas are worth exploring!
Scott then wraps up the show by sharing the great news that starting in July of 2023, every sock produced by Sock Religious is American made in his factory in Indianapolis

The focus then turns to talk of heroes, and Todd shares a powerful reflection about his own granddad, Harland Storch. And speaking of heroes, Todd and the team reflect on Todd’s son Ryan and his calling to discern with the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal in NYC at the start of Covid.
In his final reflection, Todd talks about his final moments sitting by his daughter’s side as they prepared for her organ donation, and he asked his brother-in-law to keep him accountable to live a life that honors God and others, regardless of what storms we face.

This episode of The BeatiDudes comes with a disclaimer - - This must-hear episode is highly emotional, and we recommend that you put yourself in the right place (physically and emotionally) to fully experience the show.
Todd has over 25 years of business management and consulting experience in bringing digital and interactive initiatives to fruition through leadership, strategic alliances, processes, and technologies in industries such as media and entertainment. Todd holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Texas A&M.
He is the co-founder of Taylor’s Gift Foundation, an award-winning 501c3 non-profit focused on organ donation and grief support for donor families. Taylor’s Gift is a compassionate source of hope, ensuring donor families never have to grieve alone.
Taylor’s Gift Foundation was started after Todd and his wife lost their daughter Taylor in a skiing accident in March of 2010. In the hospital, they faced a pivotal moment as they were asked if they would consider donating Taylor’s organs to improve and save the lives of 5 other people.
Todd shares the highly emotional and inspirational story of Taylor and her impact on the world, including her 13 years on earth and the way she outlived herself as an organ donor.
Make sure you are registered in your state for organ donation at the Taylor’s Gift website.
https://www.taylorsgift.org/
Taylor’s story includes tales of connecting with the organ recipients, sharing Taylor’s story on national media, the Ellen DeGeneres show, and a very special school poem written by Taylor shortly before she passed called “I am.” That poem is read on today’s show by Jeff Schiefelbein’s 8-year-old daughter, a moment that cannot be described in words.
After the break, the Dudes play “Blessed are the Joke Makers” and must determine the “Topic of the next Papal Encyclical” as the “Wildest party animal.”
Then Todd joins the Dudes in answering the TBD (The BeatiDudes) Question – What is something you admire about your father-in-law?
Reverse Simpsons – Paul leads the crew in an improv game of word association that eventually leads to storytelling throughout the team.

On Easter Sunday, 2011, Chris Faddis’ late wife Angela was admitted to the hospital after an emergency room visit revealed a large mass in her colon and multiple masses in her liver. The diagnosis was stage IV metastatic colon cancer, with no chance of a cure. Upon doctors informing the couple of the news, Angela’s words to Chris were, “Jesus still rose, so we will trust.”
Her witness in death inspired Chris and his friend Dr. John Oertle to launch Solidarity HealthShare, a national not-for-profit ministry that provides an affordable and ethical alternative to fund healthcare costs while protecting and practicing Catholic beliefs. Chris shares the ups and downs of getting Solidarity off the ground and enjoys many laughs and some singalongs with the BeatiDudes throughout it all.
Chris is married to Jennifer, and they have five beautiful children.
On Blessed are the Joke Makers, the Dudes must take on the persona of the world’s greatest salesperson to address the prompt, “Jesus specialized in ______ before his public ministry.” Paul delivers a mic-drop moment for the ages.
The TBD Question of the day - “What is a time in your life that you wish you could do over?”
The show concludes in true Reverse Simpsons fashion when Chris and the Dudes go head-to-head in a grip-strength competition.
