Tatting

A little demonstration of a new skill I'm trying to learn. It looked intimidating to start but is not so bad once you get the hang of it! Tatting is used to make a unique style of lace trimmings. Since it is essentially just a series of little knots, it is quite a time consuming work. But I think it is enjoyable and there's just something about these slow, traditional handiworks that brings us closer to God.
