This chaplet consists of a medal followed by five groups of five beads, each separated by one large bead. It is prayed to meditate on the Five Wounds of Our Lord: The Wound of the Left Foot, The Wound of the Right Foot, The Wound of the Left Hand, The Wound of the Right Hand, and The Wound of the Sacred Side.

A Chaplet is a Christian meditative form of prayer which uses prayer beads. Some chaplets have a strong Marian element, others focus more directly on Jesus or the Saints. Chaplets are "personal devotionals." They have no set form and vary considerably. In the Roman Catholic Church, while the usual five-decade Dominican rosary is a chaplet, often chaplets have fewer beads than a traditional rosary and a different set of prayers.

This channel was created by a husband and wife team who wanted to compile both common and rare chaplets in one easy to find place in order to fill a gap in the accessibility of these amazing Catholic prayers.

This channel seeks to bring a multitude of different chaplets, in all of their forms, to listeners providing a rich resource of spiritual healing, encouragement, and support for the daily struggles of everyday life.

The channel is designed primarily for listening while in the car, home, doing chores, or while exercising. Video content is intentionally still so as to focus the listener on the prayers and to be compatible with the other activities in which they’re engaged at the time of listening.
Imagery in this channel is intentionally sought to be in the public domain or within creative commons guidelines.

Ways to help:

1) Please Like and Subscribe for new chaplets as our intent is to produce new recordings on a regular basis as we have access to a lot more chaplets and want to provide an increased breadth of content to make sure we have relevant chaplets available for whatever your need!
2) Don’t forget to ring the bell to make sure you get updates when new chaplets are posted!
3) Please make sure to comment if there are causes or chaplets you’d like us to record for your own special intentions!

he Good Shepherd chaplet is made with 9 beads, any color. It consists of 3 sets of 3 beads with a crucifix on one end and a Good Shepherd Medal on the other end. This style chaplet is also known as a "Novena Chaplet"

On the medal:
Lord, you are my shepherd so I will lack nothing. You restore my soul! You lead me on the right path because it is your nature to do so. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will not fear because you are with me. I thank you for equipping me with your rod and your staff so that I can be comforted. You anoint my head with oil and ensure that my cup runs over with abundance! Thank you for this Good Shepherd Sunday and for your goodness and mercies all the days of my life, Amen!

3 Our Fathers
3 Hail Marys
3 Glory Bes

On the crucifix pray:
You are my God O righteous one! We are the people of your pasture, and the sheep of your hand. Thank you for taking us to your fields of joy and peace, near the streams of blessings. Your flock adores you because you always ensure that we experience the best if we hear your voice and follow you Lord, there is no one like you there is no greater shepherd, Amen.

This is a talk I gave to a women's confraternity in my city regarding leading children in mental prayer. (But it's probably the best guide I've done for adults on Gospel Meditations.)

Lord Jesus, I gather before you with a heart filled with gratitude for the gift of family. I recognize the spiritual battle that surrounds me and the need for divine protection for both myself and my family . I invoke the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the communion of saints, and humbly ask for their assistance in safeguarding my family from both physical and spiritual harm.

Blessed Mother Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth, I turn to you as my loving and powerful intercessor. I ask that you wrap your protective mantle around my family, shielding us from the spiritual attacks that seek to divide us and harm our souls.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defender of the faithful, I implore your assistance in the spiritual battle that rages around us. Stand guard at the doors of our hearts and home, banishing any darkness or evil influence that may threaten our family's spiritual well-being.

Saint Joseph, protector of the Holy Family, I seek your guidance as the head of the Holy Family. Help my family to make decisions that are in accordance with God's will and lead us on the path of righteousness. May we find strength in your example of faith and humility.

Heavenly Father, grant us your grace to be a holy family. We ask for protection and guidance from all the saints who have gone before us and from the guardian angels which you have assigned to us Lord of Mercy, I acknowledge the spiritual failings of my family. Protect us from the snares of temptation, the influences of evil, and the divisions that seek to weaken our faith and unity. May our family be a beacon of your light in a world of darkness.

Dear Jesus I entrust my entire family into the hands of Mary, the saints, and your divine protection. Surround us with their intercession and their heavenly assistance in our ongoing spiritual warfare. May our family always be a stronghold of faith, a testament to your love and grace, and a source of inspiration for others seeking your protection.

We offer this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, who conquered sin and death and leads us to victory. Amen.

In 1916, the Angel of Peace appeared in Fatima, Portugal,
to three shepherd children, Francisco, Jacinta, and Lucia
teaching them the prayers that became the foundation
for this Chaplet of Adoration and Reparation. This chaplet is prayed on ordinary rosary beads.

Please pray this chaplet as often as you can -- anytime, anywhere -- especially at times and places where our Holy Triune God is most offended and unloved.

Begin with:
Making the Sign of the Cross
(Kiss the Crucifix.)

Apostle’s Creed
(on the first bead and next three small beads:)
For the increase of Faith, Hope, and
Charity and the intentions of the Holy Father
1 Our Father / 3 Hail Marys / 1 Glory Be

(on the large bead before each decade:)
Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
I adore you profoundly, and I
offer You the Most Precious Body, Blood,
Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ,
present in all the tabernacles of the
world, in reparation for the outrages,
sacrileges, and indifference by which
He is offended, and by the infinite
merits of His Most Sacred Heart and
through the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

(on the ten small beads of each decade:)
My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love You!
I ask pardon for those who do not believe,
do not adore, do not hope and do not love You.

(following the ten small beads of each decade:)
1 Glory Be
(and)
“O Most Holy Trinity, I adore You!
My God, My God, I love You in the most
Blessed Sacrament.”
(end Chaplet with Hail Holy Queen Prayer:)

Hail Holy Queen
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy!
Our Life, our sweetness, and our Hope!
To Thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.
To Thee do we send up our sighs, mourning,
and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us;
and after this our exile show unto us the
blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us O Holy Mother of God
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen

(Make the sign of the Cross)

Prayer to the Holy Family: “Jesus, Mary and Joseph, in you we contemplate the splendor of true love; to you we turn with trust. Holy Family of Nazareth, grant that our families too may be places of communion and prayer, authentic schools of the Gospel and small domestic churches. Holy Family of Nazareth, may families never again experience violence, rejection and division; may all who have been hurt or scandalized find ready comfort and healing. Holy Family of Nazareth, make us once more mindful of the sacredness and inviolability of the family, and its beauty in God’s plan. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Graciously hear our prayer. Amen.” (from Pope Francis’ “Prayer to the Holy Family,” December 29, 2013)

For Healing of Families:

FIRST JOYFUL MYSTERY: The Annunciation and Mary’s “Yes” to God The fruit of this mystery is humility. For those who are not saying yes to God; those who are not following the will of God.

“Thank God for the grace by which you can recognize your limitations and your weakness. That is a truth which each one of us ought to acknowledge. Consider also that God needs neither our knowledge nor our talents, but desires our self-surrender, good will and readiness to do whatever He asks of us. Resort to prayer, therefore; submit and recommend everything to God, and He shall accomplish His designs even by means of a frail instrument to the everlasting glory of His Name.” (from Blessed Mary of Jesus the Good Shepherd [Frances Siedliska], Foundress of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth)

SECOND JOYFUL MYSTERY: The Visitation The fruit of this mystery is love of neighbor. For families in need.

“May the Holy Family, icon and model of every human family, help each individual to walk in the spirit of Nazareth. May it help each family unit to grow in understanding of its particular mission in society and the Church by hearing the Word of God, by prayer and by a fraternal sharing of life. May Mary, Mother of ‘fairest love,’ and Joseph, Guardian of the Redeemer, accompany us all with their constant protection.” (from St. John Paul II, “Letter To Families,” February 2, 1994)

THIRD JOYFUL MYSTERY: The Nativity The fruit of this mystery is detachment from the things of the world. For the sanctity of life.

“There is so much suffering in families these days all over the world that it is important to pray, and it is important to forgive. People ask me what advice I have for a married couple struggling in their relationship. I always answer ‘Pray and forgive;’ and to young people who come from violent homes, ‘Pray and forgive;’ and to the single mother with no family support, ‘Pray and forgive.’ You can say, ‘My Lord, I love You. My God, I am sorry. My God, I believe in You. My God, I trust You. Help us to love one another as You love us.’” (from St. Teresa of Calcutta)

FOURTH JOYFUL MYSTERY: The Presentation The fruit of this mystery is obedience. For renewal of faith in our families.

“We can try to limit suffering, to fight against it, but we cannot eliminate it. It is when we attempt to avoid suffering by withdrawing from anything that might involve hurt, when we try to spare ourselves the effort and pain of pursuing truth, love, and goodness, that we drift into a life of emptiness, in which there may be almost no pain but the dark sensation of meaninglessness and abandonment is all the greater. It is not by sidestepping or fleeing from suffering that we are healed, but rather by our capacity for accepting it, maturing through it, and finding meaning through union with Christ, who suffered with infinite love.” (from Pope Benedict XVI, Encyclical Letter “Spe Salvi,” November 30, 2007).

FIFTH JOYFUL MYSTERY: Finding in the Temple The fruit of this mystery is joy in finding Jesus. For families that have experienced loss.

“Heavenly Father, You have given us a model of life in the Holy Family of Nazareth. Help us, O loving Father, to make our family another Nazareth where love, peace, and joy reign. May it be deeply contemplative, intensely Eucharistic, and vibrant with joy. Help us to stay together in joy and sorrow through family prayer. Teach us to see Jesus in the members of our family, especially in His distressing disguises. May the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus make our hearts meek and humble like his and help us to carry out our family duties in a holy way. May we love one another as God loves each one of us more and more each day, and forgive each other’s faults as You forgive our sins. Help us, O loving Father, to take whatever You give and to give whatever You take with a big smile. Immaculate Heart of Mary, cause of our joy, pray for us. Saint Joseph pray for us. Holy Guardian Angels be always with us, guide and protect us. Amen.” (from St Teresa of Calcutta)

Our Lady gave us this simple Chaplet for priests and asked that it be said often throughout the day and night. She said that praying it will release many Graces for priests.

The Chaplet is to have a Crucifix, one bead, then a medal with Our Mother of Divine Love, Patroness of Priests on one side and the Holy Blessed Trinity on the other side. Next are 33 beads that represent the 33 years Jesus spent on earth to join at the medal.

To pray the Chaplet:
Begin and end with The Sign of the Cross.

Pray the Creed on the Crucifix.

Pray the "Our Father on the first bead.

Pray the "Hail Mary on the medal.

Pray "O Jesus, Son of the Living God, have mercy on us and on all our Priests (or you may name a priest) on the 33 beads.

On the medal Pray: "O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine, all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine. (May be sung)

"Blessed be the Holy and Immaculate Conception of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, Mary Most Holy.

"Mary, Queen of Divine Love, Patroness of Priests, pray for us.

"God Our Father, please send us Holy Priests, all for the Sacred and Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, all for the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, in union with St. Joseph.

"Ave, Ave, Ave Maria. Ave, Ave, Ave Maria." (May be sung)

Pray the "Glory Be on the single bead.

Pray the "St. Michael Prayer on the Crucifix. Amen.

This chaplet consists of a crucifix followed by five introductory beads, and four groups of 10 beads, each separated by one bead. The 40 beads are in memory of the 40 hours that Our Lord is thought to have spent when He descended to the dead, to preach the Gospel and to deliver the souls of the just who had died before Him.

The Chaplet of Our Lord also known as The Crown of Our Lord, The Rosary of Our Lord, or the Camaldolese Crown Rosary was instituted through divine inspiration about the year 1516, by the blessed Michael of Florence, a Camaldolese monk who used to say it every day until his death, Jan 11, 1522.

It is composed of thirty-three Our Fathers, in remembrance and veneration of the thirty-three years which Jesus Christ lived on the earth; to these are added five Hail Mary's in honor of His five most holy wounds; the first three of which are said, one at the beginning of each of the three decades and one prior to the three concluding Our Fathers and the other after them. The Chaplet finishes with the Credo in honor of the holy Apostles its composers, and which itself contains an epitome of the Birth, Life, Passion, and Death of our Divine Lord Jesus Christ.

The Byzantine Rosary Begins:
O God, cleanse me, a sinner (3 X).

O heavenly King, Paraclete, Spirit of Truth, Who is present everywhere and permeate all things, Treasury of blessings and Giver of life, come and dwelling within us. Purify us from every fault and save our souls, O gracious Lord.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us. (3 X )

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and always and forever. Amen.

O holy Trinity, have mercy on us.
Lord forgive us our sins.
Most Holy God, pardon our transgressions.
Do You who are holy visit us and heal our infirmities for Your name's sake.

Lord, have mercy on us (3X).

Glory be to the Father, etc.
Our Father, etc.

Come let us bow down to Our Lord God.
Come let us bow down and adore Our Lord God.
Come let us bow down and adore Christ Himself, Our King and God.

Recite the 50th Psalm and
Recite the Apostles' Creed.

Recite the Jesus Prayer (100 times)

Conclusion

It is indeed proper to bless you, Mother of God, the eternal blessed and completely spotless one and the Mother of God. Higher in honor than the Cherubim and incomparably more glorious than the Seraphim, who without harm to thy virginity give birth to the Word of God.

You do we extol, true Mother of God.

Glory be to the Father, and to the son and to the Holy Spirit, now and always and forever and ever. Amen. Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.

By the prayer of our holy fathers, O Lord, Jesus Christ, our God, have mercy on us.

This chaplet invokes the help of the angels, saints, and Christ Himself to protect our chastity and purity as we navigate the dangers and temptations of our lives. Each petition is followed by a verse or two from Scripture and a Hail Mary.

Opening Prayer: Dear Jesus, I know that every perfect gift, and especially that of chastity, depends on the power of Your providence. Without You a mere creature can do nothing. Therefore, I beg You to defend by Your grace the chastity and purity of my body and soul. And if I have ever imagined or sensed anything that could stain my chastity and purity, blot it out, Supreme Lord of my powers, that I may advance with a pure heart in Your love and service, offering myself on the most pure altar of Your divinity all the days of my life. Amen.

1. Dear Jesus, bless our social and cultural climate. Grant that that our society may be purified of everything contrary to chastity, and that we may have the strength to resist the pressures of prevailing ideologies.

2. Dear Jesus, bless our relationships. Grant that they will be holy, healthy, and honorable at all times.

3. Dear Jesus, bless our efforts at modesty. Grant that how we dress and carry ourselves may veil what should be veiled, and give us the strength to resist evil fashions and the glamour of sin.

4. Dear Jesus, bless our five senses. Grant that the things we see, the music and jokes we hear, the food and drink we eat, and the encounters we have through touch may all be pure and holy.

5. Dear Jesus, bless our sensuality. Grant that our impulses may not go after base pleasures, but will be freed by wisdom and inflamed for what is good.

6. Dear Jesus, bless our imagination. Grant that we may be preserved from the fantasies and daydreams that defile us, that all impure images may vanish, and that we may be protected from all the assaults of demons.

7. Dear Jesus, bless our memory. Grant that no memories of past experiences may disturb us, but that the Lord may touch and heal us through hope for a better future.

8. Dear Jesus, bless our power of estimation. Grant that we may quickly sense dangers to chastity, instinctively flee from them, and that we may never turn away from higher and more difficult goods for the sake of sinful self-indulgence.

9. Dear Jesus, bless our affectivity. Grant that we may love chastity and rejoice in it, that all of our emotions may be in harmony with what is right, and that no sadness, discouragement, fear, insecurity, or loneliness may afflict us unto sexual sin.

10. Dear Jesus, bless our intellect. Grant that it may be purged of all false beliefs and all misunderstandings of human sexuality, and that the good angels may flood our intellects with thoughts that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and gracious.

11. Dear Jesus, bless our will. Grant that it may never be opposed by our sensuality, that it may never be conflicted in the moment, but that it may hold fast to chastity no matter how difficult it may be.

12. Dear Jesus, bless our conscience. Grant that it may be swift to judge what is chaste, swifter to execute it, and preserved completely from the suggestions of demons.

13. Dear Jesus, bless our hearts. Grant that the place where Christ abides in us with the Father and the Spirit may become the place where we live with the Holy Trinity in friendship.

14. Dear Jesus, grant us the grace of self-surrender. Grant that we may hand over to God nothing less than our whole lives.

15. Dear Jesus, give us your love.

Closing Prayer: Chosen lily of innocence, pure St. Thomas, who kept chaste the robe of baptism and became an angel in the flesh after being girded by two angels, I implore you to commend me to Jesus, the Spotless Lamb, and to Mary, the Queen of Virgins. Gentle protector of my purity, ask them that I, who wear the holy sign of your victory over the flesh, may also share your purity, and after imitating you on earth may at last come to be crowned with you among the angels. Amen.

A chaplet in honor of the parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and Grandparents of Jesus Christ.

O Holy Mother and Father of the Blessed Virgin Mary, as parents, you guided and nurtured Mary and, under your protection and love, watched her grow in holiness. Through your faithfulness and goodness the Will of God was fulfilled; the fruits of your virtue and faith brought salvation to the whole world with the birth of the baby Jesus.

“The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.” (John 1:14).

Most Holy St’s Anne and Joachim, come close to us and guide our hand and our hearts in the way of virtue. Help us to parent our children and grandchildren with a gentle heart as you did. Show us how to raise our children in faith and bring our families into the Light of Jesus. Remain close to us and help us on our journey to salvation.

St’s Anne and Joachim, we place our petitions in your hands and ask that you lay them before the child Jesus. Seek this, my favor [State your request…] but only if it be for the greater glory of God and the good of my soul.

Pray: Our Father…, Hail Mary…, Glory be to the Father…. … St Anne and St Joachim: Pray for Us …

Closing Prayer:
Good parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary, grandparents of our Savior, Jesus Christ,
When life seems barren, help us to trust in God’s mercy.
When we are confused, help us to find the way to God.
When we are lost in the desert, lead us to those whom God has called us to love.
When our marriage seems lifeless, show us the eternal youth of the Lord.
When we are selfish, teach us to cling only to that which lasts.
When we are afraid, help us to trust in God.
When we are ashamed, remind us that we are God’s children.
When we sin, lead us to do God’s will.
You who know God’s will for husband and wife, help us to live chastely.
You who know God’s will for the family, keep all families close to you.
You who suffered without children, intercede for all infertile couples.
You who trusted in God’s will, help us to respect God’s gift of fertility.
You who gave birth to the Blessed Mother, inspire couples to be co-creators with God.
You who taught the Mother of God, teach us to nurture children in holy instruction.
You whose hearts trusted in God, hear our prayers for . . . (state your request).
Pray with us for the ministry of Catholic family life.
Pray with us for the ministry of Natural Family Planning.
Pray with us for all who give their time, talent, and treasure to this good work.
Pray: Hail Mary . . . Our Father . . . Glory be . . .
God of our fathers, you gave Saints Anne and Joachim the privilege of being the parents of Mary, the mother of your incarnate Son.
May their prayers help us to attain the salvation you have promised to your people.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
