⁣On this Mother's Day, we can reflect on the life of St. Monica, the patroness of Mothers. She is the patroness of mothers not only because she gave birth to the body of the great St. Augustine, but also because through her good works and many tears was instrumental in bringing forth his soul in grace at his re-birth in the waters of baptism. She accomplished the first task within a year (9 months) while the latter took her 30 years. She did this by deepening her piety, detaching from all things of this world (including her own son whom she loved so much), and remaining always determined. PIETY, DETACHMENT and DETERMINATION in this patroness of mothers gave us the greatest of the Fathers of the Church and the Doctor of Grace. Where has the “gay rights” movement come from, and how has it so easily conquered America? For more please visit: ⁣https://instituteofcatholicculture.org/

⁣Our Lord established a connection between heaven and earth, setting up vertical link... a sort of eye contact. When we make this contact with Him and keep it, we will not easily sin and ultimately we will save our souls! But if the link is cut, we will fail and fall into all sorts of sins and problems. This link is most easily destroyed and obscured by way of violation of the 6th and 9th Commandments, most especially through the eyes... Those of fall into impurity stop praying! And then they start doubting...and it all goes down hill from there. Consecration to Our Lady, the Helpmate of helpmates, prevents this from happening. ⁣Definition of marriage contract: how did we get to the point where marriage can be so misunderstood? Fr. Luther's first attack. Does God have a right to dictate the revealed law? Dogma of secularism. What is the proper rebuttal in defense of marriage?
Note from the Preacher

In regards to the effects of the principle of private judgement, the preacher wishes especially to give credit to the thoughts of Thomas Nelson, found in the preface to Liberalism is a Sin by Fr. Felix Sarda y Salvany.
