This is a live meditation I gave 10 years ago during the first year of my priesthood serving the students of the University of Colorado. I have now recycled it into a VLX podcast for your own meditation from home or on-the-go.

St. Matthew 8:14-17. Jesus heals the Mother in Law of St. Peter. Jesus "ejects" many demons from people.

⁣In Mt 8:5-13 today, we see that to be a true leader, one must be a real follower—a follower of Christ.

⁣TS 12:05. Matthew 8:1-4. What is unique about the request of this leper before Christ heals him?

⁣TS 9:19. Morons building a home on the Rock while surrounded by rising rivers. CORRECTION: The Greek ἀνδρὶ μωρῷ (andri moro) is the *singular* dative for foolish-man, not the *plural* dative for foolish-men as I had said in the video. I caught this error after uploading and before production. Sorry about that.
