⁣In this episode Jim De Piante once again joins Jason to discuss the Traditional Latin Mass movement and its founding by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in the 1970's. They discuss the establishment of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X and more of the differences between the Traditional Mass and the New Rite (Novus Ordo) including the changes to the consecration prayer, removal and changing of Feast and Holy Days, Mass readings and communion in the hand. Communion in the hand was even condemned as far back as 1969 by Pope Paul VI in his document "Memoriale Domini" which sited the numerous abuses and problems with the change in the reception of communion which is not the norm as directed by Rome. Most of the bishops who voted during Vatican II were against this abuse as well yet it has remained an acceptable norm within the Novus Ordo Church to this very day.
