In this series of 6 lectures, Alan Morrice explains how the Magna Carta influenced the U.S. more than Britain such as how Thomas Jefferson used it as source material in writing the U.S. Constitution.

In the first lecture, Alan outlines biographical details about King John of England (1166-1216) including his parents, family, and the beginning of his rule (1199-1216).

Alan Morrice is an internationally acclaimed historian with almost 40 years of teaching experience who has given lectures in Britain, Austria, Hungary, Costa Rica, and many more countries. He graduated from Christ Church College, Canterbury, one of the most illustrious schools to learn to teach history in the world. His area of expertise is European history with a specialization in Hungarian history.

If you would like Alan to give a lecture at an educational institution or remotely or provide homeschool assistance to your kids in history, please contact his manager, Al Ulbrich, at alulbrich at gmail.com. Rates are negotiable.

Lastly, Alan is writing a book on Hungarian history and Hungary's role in world history. It is scheduled for release in June 2024. If you would like to pre-order copies, please contact Al.

About WKHR:
⁣What started as 88.3 on your FM dial in 1978 as a vocational broadcast class, WKHR gradually matured into a reminder of the great music that filled the air waves during the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s. Broadcasting on only 10 Watts of power to a limited audience, the station was managed by students of the local high school, as well as adult volunteers on the weekends.
